BERJALAN MENUJU MASA DEPAN !
Wednesday, January 29 2025 is a day that is eagerly awaited by grade 9 students at Junior High School Xaverius Terbanggi Besar. Why are students looking forward to this ?? Because on January 29-31 Xaveter held BINTER (Bina Karakter) which was held at the Ngiso Nando retreat house, BINTER was a mandatory agenda that had to be carried out by Xaverius students. BINTER was held for 3 days and 2 nights, the BINTER event was welcomed very enthusiastically by all 9 grade students, the BINTER Xaveter event was very exciting and very memorable. This was also supported by the material presenter, namely RD. Pius Wahyu Adityo Raharjo he is the Pastoral of the Xaverius Tanjungkarang Foundation School.
On the first day, the activity was officially opened by the accompanying teacher by placing name tags on student representatives, as a sign that the 3 day BINTER event had begun. After installing name tags, the next event was for students to make an agreement during the BINTER event, and on the first day it was closed by a prayer service asking young people, students.
In the BINTER event, apart from the presenters and their companions, there is something even more exciting, what is that??? yes of course, OUTBOND!!! At BINTER this time there are 4 posts that make all students lively and definitely feel more exciting!!! Starting from games using trays arranged with glasses filled with water, obstacle courses to keep pencils through obstacles to games to guard the fire of hope, which made the BINTER event even more exciting and memorable.
After OUTBOND, in the evening the art performance students then took part in the ” Ibadat Cinta “. When we started the service, the evening felt like it had onions because the students were reminded of their love for their parents, teachers and friends. At the end of the reflection, the students were hugged by the teachers, then given the opportunity to write love letters to their parents and express their repentance to God. After that, it was followed by a night of intimacy which was filled with burning activities in the area around the Ngison Nando retreat house and ended with a beautiful sleep.
Hopefully the implementation of BINTER with the theme “AKU DAN MASA DEPANKU” can have a positive impact on the development of students’ character in the modern era like today!
